Commencement Ceremony Stanford

We all have in mind the picture of graduating American Students, vigorously throwing their hat in the air during what is called a Commencement Ceremony. This scene of joy has been pictured in thousands of movies and TV series. I am sure that lots of us secretly dream of attending this for real…

Don’t wait another year. This year’s Stanford University’s 121st Commencement Ceremony will be hold this Sunday (June, 17th) in the Stanford Stadium. The Commencement procession will begin at 9:30 am, and the official ceremony will begin at 10:00 am (until 12:00 pm).

A Commencement Family Concert is organized at 3:00 pm in the Memorial Church. The Stanford Chamber Chorale, directed by Stephen M. Sano, will present an informal 45-minute concert.

For both of these events, no tickets are required and all everybody is welcome.

Other end-of-school-year events will be taking place in Stanford, starting tomorrow. The schedule is available on the dedicated 2012 Commencement website.

Congrats to all this year’s Grads!
