Life Philosophies of Stanford Folks

This is going to be a wee bit of a different blog post. I started to collect life philosophies of people around here since the end of last year. I find it interesting, amusing and hilarious to see what people come up with. Maybe you agree or even recognize your own philosophy. If not, add it on in the comment box.

Read through it and have a laugh!

  •   “Be the change that you want to see in the world”
  •   “No matter what happens, everything happens for a reason”
  •   “Mach es wie die Sonnenuhr, zähl die heitern Stunden nur”
  • “Two roads diverged in a road and I took the one less travelled and that has made  all the difference.
  • “Two young fish were swimming in a lake. A big, old fish swam past them and said:” Morning! How is the water? The young one swam on for a while and then turned to the other and said, What on earth is water?”
  • “Life is short, eat desert first.”
  • “Don’t dream your life, live your dreams”
  • “Wenn es klappt, dann klappt es zusammen”
  • “Hühner sind keine Vögel und Menschen sind keine Leute”
  • “Party with your friends, life is short”
  • “Never give up on your dreams”
  • “Every time you feel sad, frightened or bored, have…lots of sex”
  • “Enjoy the road not the goal.”
  • “Travel, travel, travel and try new food every time you can”
  • “I liked things better when I didn’t understand them
  • “It’s always good in the end! If it is not good- it’s not the end.”
  • “Don’t eat yellow snow!”
  • “Never pay for 3 things…1.water, 2.sex or 3. salad”
  • “I’d rather regret the things I have done than regret the things I haven’t done”
  • “It’s the real thing- you have to jump like you want to reach the sky”
  • “To save time, just assume I am never wrong”
  • The Philosophy of Pippi Longstockings
