Event: Business Minded Women

Ladies check this out. As mentioned in previous posts, the German American Business Association is a great organization to meet people and to network. GABA has a series of meetings tailored to business minded women. Stefanie from GABA says that the definition of “in business” is very loose in this group. It doesn’t require you to be working or to be “in business”.

These events are a great way of getting to know other people and network. You can come alone – there is always someone who will greet and introduce you to somebody interesting.

The meeting next week will be about negotiation skills for women:

Negotiating as Women: Nontraditional Settings and Successes

which I think is a very interesting and important topic. Don’t we all negotiate beautifully for other people and causes, but when it comes to us, we are not that confident. Why is that? Many questions and hopefully many answers. Learn how to master the art of negotiation with these insights and tips on being more skillful and confident as a women negotiator.

Date: Wednesday 9th of June 6pm-9pm

Location: Ropers Majeski Kohn & Bentley, 1001 Marshall Street, Suite 300, Redwood City, CA

Cost: Stanford Wives received a special promotional Code for GABA. Register your place online and enter this Code: SWIVES, instead of 25 $ you will only pay 19 $.

I joint a few of these events and always left the event feeling that this was worth my while. I met interesting, like minded people who have a wealth of information and knowledge to share. After the events I had made new friends and got new ideas.

Make use of this great offer, will see you there.

Maricki
